Glad to see you here!
I'm Ruchita. I observe, I analyse, I solve. Bringing people together and leading collaborative efforts in research and design, are among my passions.
An INFJ, I balance logic and emotion, creativity and structure.
I thrive off working with diverse teams. I identify and leverage the unique strengths in the people I work with, to lead us to collective success.
I prioritise teamwork, supportive team cultures, and psychological well-being.
I value authenticity, and believe who people are outside of work shapes their value proposition at work. I am in touch with the pulse of my team members, and support cultures of encouragement, positive reinforcement, enabling ownership, trust, dignity, self-awareness, courage to ask questions, a drive to learn, fail, and grow.
Here are some of my work and life ethics:
Empathy: True empathy implies flexibility - to navigate different temperaments, cultures, attitudes, and ways of working; pacifying high pressure situations whilst upholding professional boundaries and ethics, through a patient, trust-building approach.
Inclusion: a form on empathy-led leadership. Showing up with curiosity and compassion in multicultural environments. Adaptability is strength. Intent is crucial. Knowledge isn't inherent, it is build through curiosity and a unprejudiced mindset.
Solution-mindset: I believe 'Art' may be about self-expression, emotional impact, and beauty, but 'Design' is about analysis, problem-solving, convenience, and well, beauty. Thus my mantra remains, 'Panic, if you must. Then solve the problem.' When art and design merge to tell stories, I am a happy woman.
Generosity: Sharing is caring. Knowledge and experience aren't worth gatekeeping. Period.
Wonder: Childlike curiosity and pattern seeking, finding meaning beneath abstractions, seeing animals in the clouds - are valuable skills. To think unrestrained by conditioning and norms, originality of thought, daring to experiment, sometimes lead to uncovering answers to seemingly difficult questions.
Interconnectedness: Architecture taught me that ALL things are connected. All sciences, arts, disciplines, industries, socio-cultural, economic, political, ecological, astronomical, and everything in between: interconnected. Hard to believe? Give me 1 hour, I can prove it.
Music: Not just listening to music, but 'experiencing' it, being moved by it. Having a vast variety of taste in music, and truly enjoying numerous genres, is a sign of high intelligence.
