UNI Design Explorer Series 5 - Yearbook 2022
UNI Design Explorer Series 5 was the fifth edition in the yearbook series of UNI's flagship ISBN publication, featuring the best design projects received on the platform annually.
I served as editor of Series 5 and was also responsible for the cover design and promotional media like mockups, blogs, and banners.
The final book - MA Architecture (H&T) thesis, 12,000-words written dissertation.
This was my master's dissertation publication cover design.
I designed the book in a coffee table book format - a handy, square-sized book to flip through, viewing captivating images and views inside.

On your left is a collection of mockups created using Adobe Photoshop and real photographs of the books.

Kids welcome party, first birthday party, and wedding invites.
The above two invites were designed to be sent to younger and elder members/guests as per requirement. The one on the left with a subtle pastel theme that suited the bride and groom's tastes; and the one on the right in a rather traditional fashion.
Thesis project proposal presentation cover poster.
The poster was a part of my master's course, MA Architecture H&T (History and Theory), University of Westminster, London.
This was the first review of our thesis project proposals and the brief was to design a poster that is a thematic representation of our research projects. The intent was to translate ideas and concepts into a visual, homogenous format.
My proposal was to study the architecture within works of fantasy fiction from the 21st century, using theoretical frameworks and case studies from literature and film. My primary case study was the MCU film, Black Panther (2018). Therefore, the header portion featured a central building image from the virtual set of the movie, which plays an important role in the case study and analysis. I chose a serif font to adhere to a literary theme, placed on a faded background of Virginia Woolf's manuscript.
Two other initial case studies proposed also included the Harry Potter series and Game of Thrones series. Reflecting the same, the keywords were placed vertically, reminiscent of the iconic floating candles in Hogwarts, and the bottom portion was finished with the iconic King's Landing from Game of Thrones.
The overall imagery was that of a book cover, which was self-explanatory, given my initial studies for the research project began from literary texts and fiction novels, gaining insights into the relationship between architecture in literature, and the role of architectural environments in stories. The presentation was approved as it is without any changes.
One of my early experiments on Adobe Illustrator and among the special ones.
An early experiment with Autodesk Maya and Adobe After Effects, created as a part of 'Applied Animation and Digital Media' module within the MA Architecture programme at University of Westminster, London, UK, 2018-19.
MORE TO COME.
STAY TUNED.
